Cheadle Discovery Group

The Discovery Group are a formally constituted group, formed in April 2014 by members of various other community groups to manage the Discovery Centre.

The purpose of the group, is to promote the heritage and culture of Cheadle and surrounding area, to both residents and visitors of the town. This is primarily achieved through displays at the Discovery Centre, however the CDG are happy to make material available to schools, nursing homes and other interested parties.

Members of the group contribute a nominal fee of £5 per year.

This fee contributes towards the running of the Discovery Centre and entitles members to free admission, to at least two CDG organised events, per membership year.
